Biography

My name is Megan Smith and I am a senior at Mississippi State University. I am pursuing a bachelors degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in drawing, and I am  planning to graduate in the spring of 2017. 

 

I have enjoyed art and books since I was a very young girl. I was always reading, drawing and studying the illustrations I found in books. Growing up we moved around a lot because of my dads job and it seemed that my only constant was my art and my books. Through the years my passion for both of these things has only grown. It seems only fitting that my career reflect those things that have brought me joy and comfort throughout my life. Which is how I ended up with the wish to become a book illustrator.
